You Will:
● Build and scale our data platform software stack such as Spark, Flink, Trino and Airflow on a
hybrid-cloud Kubernetes cluster.
● Build and scale our ML platform software stack such as Kubeflow, Kserve on a hybrid-cloud
Kubernetes cluster.

● Design, implement and productionize critical data pipelines for data analytics and ML features
generation.
● Design backend services & framework: Work with Roblox Data Platform team on developing
back-end services & in-house framework that are designed to simplify the workflows and increase
the efficiency of Data Scientists and Engineers across Roblox.
● Work with Roblox headquarter collaborators to push innovation across Roblox.
You Have:
● English proficiency: Proven record of communicating professionally in English, both written
and verbal. Overseas work/academic experience is a plus.
● Programming language proficiency: We are Python, Go & Java developers, looking for
applicants who have demonstrable expertise in using these languages at scale.
● Mindset: A growth-oriented attitude and eagerness to tackle complex problems.
● Technical depth & curiosity: Deep knowledge of how industrial leading technologies work
under the hood, not just how to use them.
● 4 ~ 8 years of development and deployment experience with different data-platform
technologies and tools such as Kubernetes, Spark, Airflow. Experience in scaling spark on
Kubernetes is a strong plus.
● 1+ years of experience with AWS, Tencent Cloud, Ali Cloud or other cloud providers.
● Proficiency in SQL, experience in developing large scale data pipelines(both streaming and
offline).
● (Preferred) MLOps experience. Experience with Kubeflow, Kserve, Triton is a strong plus.
