Obtaining fair trade clothing and groceries is no problem; they're widely available. But what about fair IT equipment, like cell phones, tablets, and laptops? Does not compute! Whether Apple, Samsung, or Nokia - no company guarantees decent working conditions for its employees.
As Made in Germany reporter Ruth Krause learned during her quest for a new mobile phone: there is no 100 percent fair smartphone - yet.
